I started skating a year ago on a different brand and switched to Moxi’s this year - all I can say is WOW. The difference is night and day; I’ve definitely upped my skate game because of these amazing skates. I feel more agile, comfortable, and confident on the beauties! Also, I live in a desert climate and these babes are no where near as hot on my feat as my old skates. Moxi fan for life!!They are so comfortable and so far seem great for outdoors. Ive not had a chance to wear them on a nice long trip but so far skating down the road they are perfect. They are very comfortable and so prettyI had been skating with a (perfectly fine) pair of Sure-grip skates but I kept ending up with numb feet despite the size being correct, them not being laced too light, and me not gripping my toes. Splurging on these Moxi skates was SO worth it. They are so comfortable, they fit like a nice pair of boots. And unlike my other skates they required zero adjustment. The bearings are NICE. The wheels, bigger than regular skates, are NICE. It’s so smooth and stable, I bought them for the boots but the wheels were an unexpected game changer. It takes a little getting used to the bigger wheels for things like turns but I’m already figuring it out. I regret not buying these first.I wear a size 9 1/2 - 10 in shoes so I went and got a size 8 and they fit perfectly!I came from skates with tight trucks and these skates came with looser trucks but it was so much fun to get used to.I looked at SO MANY roller skates before deciding to splurge on these and I am so happy with my purchase. I considered Impala Quad, BTFL, Moxi Beach Bunny, Sure Grip Boardwalk Outdoor and Moonlight Rollers. I narrowed it down to these and the Midnight Rollers but they are not available on Amazon and I am impatient. Haha. I am confident that these are genuine Moxi Lolly roller skates. I did make sure that when I purchased, that the seller was Riedell due to some reviews questioning the authenticity. True Lollys only have the cutout M on one side of one skate. Mine came in an amazon box with the Moxi box inside. I did receive the keychain and the skate tool along with an instruction booklet (not shown). The skates were packaged nicely and had zero damage. I was so nervous about the Pineapple color because I was afraid they would be too bright but they are absolutely gorgeous. They are more of a deep yellow than the bright yellow shown in the picture. They were pretty comfortable right out of the box. I adjusted the wheels and trucks as per the instruction video on the Moxi website and had a blast on roller skates for the first time in about 15 years. I wear a 7.5M in regular shoes and my feet measure 9.5”. I got the size 6 and they are perfect. They are just a bit tight across the wide part of my foot but that area is suede so I am sure it will stretch a bit. These are a softer boot and do not have a ton of ankle support but I have strong ankles and am more interested in rhythmic skating than skate park type although I have seen many use these for skate parks as well. I also grew up roller skating and ice skating so am not a total beginner. I am super happy with my purchase.I love how welcoming and understanding the Moxi team is. When my skates arrived I was in absolute bliss. Trying them on was like slipping on second skin and craftsmanship is impeccable. If you want to feel and look badass in some wheels go with Moxi, and ride with the confidence that you have one of the freshest skate on the skate floor.Skates are very comfortable.I will start off with saying I am not the most skilled skater, but I do have a lengthy independent background.I was SUPER excited to get the Lolly's, not only are they super cute, but excellent quality. They were definitely made with cruising outdoors in mind. I did a significant amount of research before deciding on these and from what I can tell they are authentic. Came with the exact same equipment, looks the exact same.MY ONLY COMPLAINTS, and I feel like these are important, but not game changers, are: some of the eyelets are not smooth and caught horribly while I was lacing them, also makes it a little difficult to loosen and tighten laces. I was hoping to replace the laces with something cuter, but now I'm going to have to figure out how to fix this first. Next, I noticed there was a small knick on one of the nylon thrust plates on one skate, I'm hoping this won't be an issue in the long run, but I'm not planning on dropping into a bowl anytime soon so I'm not super worried.And lastly the stock sole insert is SO thin, but I was already planning on replacing it for something more comfortable.Something that REALLY bothered me though, was how they were shipped. They were shipped in their decorative box AND IT WAS OPEN, I nearly had a heart attack seeing that! I'm really surprised everythin made it here in one piece all together. No tape and the hole on the top of the box was punched out for the handle and the box was wide open, like holy smokes dude. Straight miracle I swear.And now for the good stuff.The bearings are sooooo smooth omg it rolls like butter.The color is so vivid and I love the yellow way more than I thought I would.I am a true 8.5 wide in women's and I opted to get a slightly bigger boot (size 8 boot) since I know I always struggle with narrow shoes and these are definitely narrow. I know that because they're genuine suade they will fit better width wise after I break them in a bit, but I like the extra room so I can add a nice insole.I love the structure of the boot, the suede is strong but flexible, which is exactly what I was looking for, I tried out other boots and was really not okay with the stiffness that comes from a synthetic leather, but this will be just right after I get them broken in.The wheels are so nice, they're soft and wide and will be perfect outdoors, if I take them to a rink I'll definitely switch them out, but that's just a given, not a problem at all. It also comes with a skate tool, which is perfect for adjusting the bearings and everything before you really take them out. Make sure to test everything out and loosen and tighten the bolts before you do anything else. There's even an instruction booklet on how to do some maintenance.Overall I'm pretty happy with the Moxi Lolly's.I'm new to skating and have been learning in chaya melrose deluxe which are super comfy but very stiff. I want to learn to dance/do moves so thought I'd buy lollys as they are very hyped up for this kind of thing. First impressions? Firstly the insole is a hideous, hard thing which needs binned. These aren't anywhere as comfy as my chayas and will need broken in. The tongue of the skate ends up round the side of your ankle/foot. Beautiful looking skates but not sure worth the money. Pics are of skates customised. I'll update the review once I've broken them in and see if they are as awesome as everyone says.Love these skates! Really great fit. I am a UK size 5 and went for the size 6. I used the sizing chart, measured my foot and they fit really nicely. I used them a few times with the wheels they came with -moxies gummies - which are very forgiving in rough ground and give a smooth roll. But are quite large and make the skates a little heavy. To level up I changed them out for radar wheels and now they feel like a part of foot when I skate and allow you feel the trucks a little more. Get the radar wheels if you want to improve the maneuverability! You won’t regret it!My daughter love these they are made well I did order size six and was sent size seven which I'm glad now because the six would have been too small.The Moxi are great.I didn t have any problem with amazon. The quality of suede and the wheels are great, the shoelaces are very long and it includes a tool!!! I really loved them.I just have a problem, when I try to buy them again on amazon.com.mx they are no longer available! I need them to sell them again to I can buy a correct size, please!!!! I highly recommend to measure your foot and check the size chart if you want to buy them and avoid my mistake.
