I really like this sweater, enough to keep it and remove the buttons on the sleeves and replace them down the front. The buttons are a bright and garish looking gold, the over all effect is to make the sweater look cheap. The weight is between medium and heavy. The styling is lovely. It runs on the snug side of medium on me so I will re-order with a size or two up and definitely keep the sweater. I recommend it with the caveat of needing to replace the buttons. Good price too.Great style, I use it for work, my work place is not casual, but could wear it to go out for dinner, etc.. The fabric is not warm, so you need a coat if you use it in winter time. But I got compliments from other women, and I like the way it fits, not baggy.I love this sweater. I wish they made xs, the small was a little wide for me so I altered it. Looks great. Also if they added pockets it would be incredible! So happy I purchased!I really wanted this sweater to look good. The fabric is smooth, well knit, and soft. And the color is nice with my skin.I spotted the gold buttons on the front of the sweater in the vendor's photos, and thought that was a nice design touch - maybe a bit too much, but if so, tolerable. But the gold buttons on the sleeve? They really pushed me over the edge.My husband loves this, and I may end up wearing it a few times because of that - but those sleeve buttons will have to go. Not all 1980's fashions were classic.This sweat3er has a great shape and I love the shawl collar. The length is nice and it niops in at the waist. The sleeves are gathered for a bit of fullness. The color is gorgeous and the fabric is soft.The picture doesn't really show that the sleeves have a line of five very shiny nonfunctional buttons down an extremely long cuff. For me, this is a distracting, overly fancy touch that makes the sweater less elegant than it otherwise would be. That's just a matter of personal taste; someone with a more dramatic style might love that look.The sweater comes with an extra button in case you lose one.Great sweater for dressy or casual. The buttons are a nice touch and dress it up. Looks almost like a sweater blazer. It isn’t super thin and seems thick enough to keep warm in.
